Behind the Space - The Birth of the Gallery
The cafe wasn't just furnished – it was sculpted.
The surface of the walls and the texture of the floor didn't arrive pre-made, but were born here, by hand, layer by layer.
A key role in this was played by Martin, the younger creator of Andi's and Niki's son, for whom visuality is not a tool but a fundamental stance. The decorative plaster walls and the floor were his work: surfaces that don't just decorate, but give character to the space.
His interest in the arts is not a separate thing, but a part of everyday life. He observes, shapes, seeks proportions – and these decisions quietly integrate into how the space functions.
The idea for the gallery also started here.
A level that not only physically elevates the space, but also provides an opportunity for the cafe to be more than just a place where we stop. Rather, it's an environment where visuals, material, and atmosphere are present together.
Andi's café
Andi's Café is not just a place in the city, but an atmosphere. A door through which, upon entering, everything slows down a bit:
the morning rush, the afternoon noise, the never-ending to-do list in your head...
Mother - Daughter Story
Every good place has a story, but the story of Andi's Café didn't start with a strict business plan, but with a difficult family period...
